There was no US aggression against Iran last night. The sounds reported from the area were a combination of anti-ship cruise missile launches and surface-to-air missile launches, which were misinterpreted by some local residents and OSINT channels as the sounds of aircraft or a US attack on Kashem Island. The ground forces of the Revolutionary Guards launched surface-to-air missiles from Toula, in the center of Kashem Island, at a hostile aircraft to drive it out of Iranian airspace. The missiles were moving towards the south. Some OSINT channels mistakenly identified the sounds of these launches and explosions as evidence of US aggression against Kashem. However, the sounds were related to the launch of missiles aimed at air and sea targets. Also, there have been repeated launches from Iranian territory in recent hours, involving aerial targets and vessels operating in the surrounding waters. Separate reports described an incident in which a small Revolutionary Guards boat approached an oil tanker and attached two explosive devices to its starboard side. The fire caused in the engine room temporarily disabled the vessel. The fire was subsequently extinguished, and the tanker resumed its voyage. Another report described a fire on the water near Iran's Lark Island, where a vessel appeared to have been targeted. Caution for the coming hours and days: Reports of explosions, missile launches, aircraft-like sounds and possible sonic booms throughout southern Iran, as well as in the Tehran and Isfahan areas, should be carefully evaluated. Iran has conducted extensive military exercises, including air defense exercises and other military training activities. Some of the sounds and visual reports may be related to these exercises rather than an act of aggression. Avoid interpreting any explosion or unusual sound as evidence of an attack unless reliable confirmation arrives.
