Key points from Houthi leader Seyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi's speech on the annual anniversary of Martyrs' Day: The aggression against Yemen, which began on March 26, 2015, was launched under American supervision, in partnership with Britain and with Israeli backing. The Saudi regime is responsible for its implementation and financing, while participating in the planning and selection of targets. The Israeli evil directs the entire nation through all its arms and entities. The enemies do not want to deal with oppression, arrogance and crime with rehabilitation. More than 14,000 agricultural fields were targeted by Saudi aggression using US bombs to burn and destroy them. The aggression and the blockade against Yemen have no legitimacy and they are depriving the Yemeni people of their national resources. The goal of the aggression and the siege is to subjugate the Yemeni people to America, Israel and Britain. The Saudi regime acts as a front, financier and executor of the aggression, using the resources of the Arabian Peninsula to serve the interests of America, Israel and Britain. The Saudi regime has no justification whatsoever to attack the Yemeni people. Saudi aggression targets the basic foundations of life in Yemen and continues to destroy schools, service facilities and civilian infrastructure. The Yemeni people demand an end to the aggression and the siege, the removal of control over their sovereign resources and assurances of their right to freedom and independence. Takfiri movements do not mobilize to confront Israel, regardless of the extent of Palestinian suffering, as demonstrated in Gaza. The Saudi regime is recruiting Takfiri groups to serve American interests, at the request of America and the West. Accusing the Yemeni people of damaging the Islamic holy places in Makkah and Madinah is a clear fabrication.
