Singapore imposes heavy fines on cross-border haze pollution companies, with the maximum fine increased tenfold to 62.8 million ringgit.
Under the amendment, if a company causes or contributes to land and forest fires, putting Singapore at risk of smog pollution, the maximum fine will be increased from SGD 2 million to SGD 20 million.
