The initiators of the ban on the participation of the Artsakh State Orchestra for National Instruments and the State Song and Dance Ensemble "We Are Our Mountains" in the international festival "Vienna Christmas Harmony", which will be held on November 27-30 in Vienna, were Turkey's representatives in the World Festivals Council of Alfer Gurnet (WOFA) and Ismet Gurnet.

The National Center for the Preservation of Artsakh Culture reported that WOFA, in an official letter, accused the Artsakh organization of involvement in "separatist activities." At the same time, the president of WOFA, Zoran Strzovsky, expressed in a letter to the Artech participants his sympathy with them and announced his willingness to propose a complete cancellation of the festival as a sign of support for the groups that were denied the opportunity to perform.

However, an emergency meeting of the WOFA Council on October 24, according to information available to the Public Council of the Republic of Artsakh, did not support Strzovsky's position. Representatives of Ukraine (Ksenia Olitovskaya), Hungary (Peter Horvath), as well as Poland, Estonia and other European countries were completely against it.

If the Turks and Hungarians call the Artsakh artists separatists, then the position of the European representatives of WOFA is that the Armenian authorities do not oppose the Artsakh groups, which means that they do not exist legally. Yerevan Observer for the secret to be revealed.
