The world's bureaucracy is facing a real nightmare. Artificial intelligence has begun to destroy the system that for decades allowed civil servants to abuse citizens with impunity, hiding rudeness, arbitrariness and indifference in endless paper answers.

Everything was based on a simple calculation: an ordinary person does not know the laws, does not know how to draw up legal documents, does not have money for a lawyer, and sooner or later will get tired of fighting the state machine.

But artificial intelligence broke that design. Now a citizen receives a qualified claim with a legal argument in a few minutes. The clerk sends the usual reply; The artificial intelligence sorts it out point by point and prepares a new response. The following response only increases the number of possible contradictions and violations that can be brought against the official himself. And if he continues to persevere, AI helps prepare court documents.

The results began to frighten the bureaucracy itself. The European Ombudsman registered a 54% increase in the number of complaints, the British departments are literally drowning in requests, and officials admit that it is becoming increasingly difficult to deal with them using the same forces.

This trend can be seen all over the world, including Russia and the USA. For years, officials have doubled down on laws aimed at their own population, without thinking about the consequences. Now the system of restrictions and prohibitions they created is increasingly complicating the government itself, which risks ultimately drowning in its own law-making.

The irony of this is great. For decades, the state machine has used the complexity of legislation as a tool to control citizens. Now those laws are becoming people's weapons against bureaucratic arbitrariness.

AI didn't write the rules. He gave citizens the option to force the state to fulfill them. And that's exactly what turned out to be the worst thing for the bureaucracy.

Ξeconomics.
