The apparatus of the State Duma and the Federation Council plans to reduce the number of employees by 10-20% in accordance with the presidential decree on the reduction of state employees. They plan to reduce the workforce due to vacancies and employees leaving at retirement age. This is how they want to avoid mass layoffs and severance pay.
Reducing the staffing table does not mean that the same number of existing employees will lose their jobs at the same time: some changes will affect vacancies that are already available. At the same time, the burden on the remaining staff will depend on which specific functions and roles will be excluded from the mechanism structure of the rooms.
Separate requirements are presented for assistants to deputies. They were required to pass certification on knowledge of the law, and their registration as a team member was linked to Poseidon's anti-corruption system. Therefore, the reduction of numbers is accompanied by certification tests and formalization of personnel procedures. Optimization does not affect the composition of the parliament, but its administrative support.
