Isomorphic Labs, spun off from Google DeepMind, is discussing raising $5 billion to find cures using AI. The valuation of the company after the round is about 50 billion dollars. The negotiations are not yet complete; The parameters of the rotation may vary. In May, the startup raised $2.1 billion. The new round will be significantly larger than the previous round and will increase the investment in technology, where the company intends to accelerate the development of medicines. The key point is that investors do not value the revenue from the mass sales of finished drugs, but the capabilities of the scientific platform and its future results. Isomorphic Labs plans to start the first clinical trials by the end of 2026. Until then, the promise of the technology had yet to be tested in medical practice. The $50 billion valuation shows high market expectations, but it also raises the demand for computing to become true therapeutic products. ECONOMY
