A Mississippi federal court has refused to dismiss the NAACP's claim against SpaceX's AI unit. The dispute relates to the operation of 27 gas turbines for data centers in Memphis. The plaintiffs claim that the equipment was launched without the necessary permits. According to the NAACP, the violation of the Clean Air Act occurred between August and December 2025. The company's lawyers insisted that turbines are mobile installations and therefore not subject to licensing requirements. The court did not accept this argument as grounds for dismissing the case and allowed it to proceed. This is a conflict between the rapid construction of computing infrastructures and the rules of operation of electrical equipment. Electricity is important for data centers, but the condition of the turbines used remains a matter of controversy. The court's decision still does not determine the company's fault: now the dispute over permits and environmental compliance will be considered on the merits. ECONOMY
