The volume of new deposits in Kyrgyzstan's banks increased by 29% during the eight months of January-August 2026, Kyrgyzstan's banks received new deposits worth 6.46 trillion soms. This is 28.9% more than in the same period last year, reports the National Bank. In August alone, the volume of new deposits amounted to 951.6 billion soms, an increase of 51.5% during the year. The lion's share fell on individuals - 874.1 billion soms. The average rate on new deposits was 2.88% per year.
