Rubio's attempt to blame Iran: Iran is trying to make international shipping lanes unsafe We live today in a world where Iran is trying to make international shipping lanes unsafe and freely attacks commercial ships, oil tankers and gas carriers. We must have a way to protect our ships not only in the Strait of Hormuz, but also in Bab al-Mandab. We are also in the China Sea and the areas close to Taiwan, and we have to protect our ships in these areas as well. This situation caused a disruption in the supply chain, including the supply of food to the countries of the world, and we know that we are facing a new challenge.
