Technical evaluation meeting of maintenance projects in the Persian Gulf in the presence of Mohammed Shariatmadari In the presence of Mohammed Shariatmadari, CEO of the Petrochemical Industries Group in the Persian Gulf, and the managers of the group's policy and operations areas, a dedicated meeting was held to evaluate the current projects with the aim of checking the level of progress, updating the economic indicators and measuring their ability to create value. In this meeting, the latest findings and results of technical and economic studies of three projects "Almas of the Dawn", "PDH/PP Pars Petrochemical" and "PDH/PP Refining of Bidblend Gas in the Persian Gulf" were presented and various technical, economic and performance aspects of these projects were examined and evaluated. The CEO of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Group considered the ongoing evaluation and review of the plans and projects of this industrial complex a strategic necessity and stated: In the new holding approach, all plans are validated based on economic indicators and evaluated from a technical and economic point of view. Accordingly, the holding's resources, operations and investments will focus on projects that have proven their profitability and value creation for the stock portfolio of the group's shareholder family, which numbers millions of shares. He noted: The managers and engineers of this complex are trustees of small capitals and large shareholders. With such an approach, an attempt was made to determine the tasks and put them on the right track for the undecided and remaining projects that in recent years have caused considerable costs and economic consequences for the holding company and the country's economy. Following this meeting, the effectiveness and prospects of the ongoing programs were examined in terms of indicators such as sustainable food supply, demand capacity and product market flexibility, as well as challenges and risks ahead. Evaluating projects from the point of view of completing the value chain, examining their mutual effects on each other and creating a balance in the product portfolio of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industry Group were among the other axes of this meeting. In the end, after presenting experts' opinions and suggestions on how to continue and complete the three mentioned programs, a special working group was appointed to monitor the issues and suggestions raised. It was also decided that this working group, after conducting further investigations and field studies, will present the results in the form of a consolidated report at the first opportunity.
