Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Qatar, reiterated the request to purchase F-35 aircraft. He also demanded from the US a clear way to reopen this case and explain the conditions that Qatar must meet to realize it. In this framework, Damino and Al-Thani agreed that the US in Washington, with the participation of several security institutions, will conduct a policy review on Qatar's request to purchase F-35.
