Import of cars from foreign currency of the 1404 budget has been stopped. The Trade Development Organization of Iran has stopped the registration of orders and the evaluation of new and used passenger car import files from the place of section "R" in note 1 of the 1404 budget law due to the limitation of the country's foreign exchange resources. The decision that was made in order to manage the foreign exchange resources, and at the same time, the possibility of continuing the clearing procedure for cases with the supply of foreign exchange, while complying with the announced conditions, is still in place.
