IT workers in Moscow started going to work in factories - where they are offered higher salaries than office salaries. One specialist, after several months of unsuccessfully looking for a job, retrained as a CNC machine operator and now receives more than 150 thousand rubles, voluntary health insurance with dental care and free lunches, and after his shift he does not waste time on evening conversations. Such cases are becoming more frequent: in the first half of the year, industrial production in Moscow increased by 12.1%, 4,735 factories operate in the city, and the number of resumes of working specialists increased by 30% in the first nine months of 2025. At the same time, the factories still lack qualified personnel, and more, by 5 years short specialists.
