The Russian structure of Google was charged 16.8 billion rubles in administrative fines accrued by the American Google LLC. According to the bankruptcy trustee, the funds were forcibly deleted by a court. The bankruptcy estate of the bankrupt company received over 18.8 billion rubles. After collecting the principal amount, the remaining funds were used to meet the requirements of the Federal Tax Service and pay debts to former employees. Salary payments amounted to 400 million rubles. Thus, a significant part of the funds of the Russian company, which is undergoing bankruptcy proceedings, was spent to fulfill punitive obligations related to the parent structure. A significantly smaller amount remains for the rest of the creditors' claims. The proceedings show how forced collection affects the distribution of the bankruptcy estate: before finalizing arrangements with the tax service and employees, the administrator had to take into account the billions already written off by the court.
