Swiss banking group UBS increased its net profit in the third quarter to $2.69 billion compared to $2.48 billion in the same period last year. Revenues reached $13.35 billion. One of the key results was the infusion of $55.1 billion in new assets into the global wealth management division. Particularly notable growth was recorded in the Asia-Pacific region and the Americas, where clients moved funds more actively under the group's management. The income of the assets and the profit obtained are different indicators. The first characterizes the amount of capital that the bank serves, the second reflects the financial result of its activity. Increasing funds under management creates the foundation for future income from customer services. Thus, UBS's quarterly performance was supported not only by continued revenue, but also by the expansion of its international wealth management business. The most notable growth in client assets occurred in markets outside of Europe.
