The leading sources of growth in the non-oil and gas sector are the non-oil and gas industry, logistics and digital services. This is what the head of staff of the Ministry of Economy, Alvin Jamalov, said at the meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee for Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship, dedicated to the first reading of the bill "On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027".
According to him, the investment in fixed assets of the private sector increased in real terms by 10.9% and amounted to ₼14.7 billion. Private investments in the non-oil and gas sector increased by about 21%. "At the same time, I would like to draw attention to the fact that full implementation of state budget expenditures, including capital expenditures, by the end of the year is an important factor affecting the rate of economic growth," the head of the administration noted.
Alvin Dzhamalov also noted that non-oil and gas exports, excluding transactions with oil from the oil fund, grew by 20.5% during 9 months and reached 3.2 billion dollars, 60% of which were industrial products. The balance of foreign trade without transactions with gold of the oil fund increased by 25%, the surplus amounted to 7.1 billion dollars.
