Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) CJSC and China's CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Company have signed an agreement to supply 4 new 7-car passenger trains within two years, ADY reports. This step will allow the resumption of passenger services in the directions of Yalma, Minjivan and Astra until 2030, as well as the commissioning of the Baku-Khankandi line. Along with ensuring the integration of regions, including Karabakh and East Zangzor, into the country's unified transport network, the project is part of the wide-ranging steps to renew ADY's train fleet.
