Now the residents of the house and all residents of Severodvinsk have the opportunity to recycle PET bottles up to six liters, aluminum cans up to two liters, as well as cardboard, paper, books and magazines. In addition, the capabilities of the machine can be expanded using artificial intelligence and machine vision technologies. As the chairman of the UA, Natalia Sergeitchik, pointed out, there is one garbage chute for 78 apartments in the building. It was impossible to place ordinary tanks for separate collection: there is no container site in the area, and its equipment is prohibited by regulations. At the same time, the residents of the house actively participate in separate waste collection. Therefore, it was necessary to automate the process. The solution is in Nizhny Novgorod, where the appropriate equipment is manufactured. The device is not just a container, but a software and hardware complex, so it is not cheap. For the first time an application for "Pomori Noah" was submitted in 2024, but was not selected. In 2025 they submitted it again and the project was approved and this year the device was installed," said Natalya Sergiychik. And she specifically noted that since the Fandomet is not a MSW container or a container site, it is therefore not subject to the requirements for regular waste sites. This means that it can be placed directly on the local area in a convenient place for the residents. Thus, in the first two months of operation, the smart device received for recycling 516 aluminum cans, 122 kg of paper waste and 2,015 plastic bottles.
