In Barbados, the work of the TDM UralTech factory, which produces electrical products, has been stopped. The company is reducing personnel. First, her former employees reported problems at the Sverdlovsk plant: we were all fired, and according to the law we had to be paid a second and third salary. As a result, there are no payments. They clarified that they have already reported problems to the prosecutor's office, the investigative committee and the presidential administration, but so far this has not resulted in results. Plant representatives told TDM UralTech that it was facing an "extremely difficult financial situation" and it was necessary to stop work on the project. Downsizing is currently underway. The company assured that the procedure is carried out in accordance with the law. For the company's management, this step was a difficult but inevitable decision. Despite the current circumstances, the management of TDM UralTech LLC is aware of its responsibility towards its employees, therefore the entire dismissal procedure was carried out in accordance with the labor law. For its part, the company did everything in its power to ensure the protection of the legal rights of the employees during layoffs: all the laid-off employees received full wages within the stipulated time frame. At the same time, the plant's representatives confirmed the fact of delays in severance payments for the second month: first, the company's work was affected by a cyber attack on the company's servers in July, after which all the information stored there, including 1C databases, was irretrievably lost. Restoring equipment and data required not only time, but also financial costs that were not included in the budget. Second, after the drone attacks on a wild berry warehouse, the company lost a large inventory, which led to further losses. We are always in touch here.
