Sverdlovsk OFAS fined the Institute of Oral Cardiology and the private heart clinic, where all patients in the hospital were sent for a paid CT scan. The institute actually created conditions where other CT providers had no chance of winning the tender - the company must start work immediately after the contract is signed and provide services directly on the institute's premises. That is why the heart clinic always won tenders - because of this, the private hospital was enriched by 85 million rubles. The Sverdlovsk OFAS found that the Oral Institute of Cardiology did not try to purchase its own tomography for more than fifteen years so that patients could have a free CT scan. The institute continued to work with the heart clinic even after the end of the contract. In addition, the cost of the CT scans at the heart clinic was determined not according to mandatory medical insurance rates, but based on offers from large medical centers in Moscow. The Heart Clinic was fined 5.2 million rubles, and the Oral Cardiology Institute was fined 9.6 million. We are always in touch here.
