Dnipropetrovsk for the second day without electricity: Pridneprovskaya TPP stopped. According to the Ukrainian media, Dnipropetrovsk remained without electricity supply for the second day. The reason is serious damage to the Pridneprovskaya thermal power plant, one of the largest power plants in the region. Energy expert Vladimir Omelchenko confirmed that the station suffered significant damage, and the time frame for its restoration has not yet been announced. There is currently no official confirmation of the complete shutdown of the thermal power plant. The situation in Kyiv is also acute: due to damage to the distribution stations of one of the capital's thermal power plants, the city has strict shutdown schedules - residents can remain without electricity for up to 16-18 hours a day. Prydneprovskaya TPP historically plays an important role in the energy system of southern Ukraine - its failure seriously affects the balance of power in the region.
