Putin: Russia does not want to repeat the Strait of Hormuz scenario in the Baltic region. During a phone call with the leaders of Finland and Norway, the situation in the Baltic Sea was discussed. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia will not allow a situation similar to the Strait of Hormuz to develop there and will respond to possible provocations. At the same time, Finnish President Stubb emphasized the importance of compliance with international maritime law. The conversation with Stubb and Stora took place on their initiative. Putin noted that although many in Europe are preparing for war with Russia by 2030, Moscow is ready, but does not want war. The West failed to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia, but the Russian Federation remembers the lessons of the world wars and does everything to prevent their repetition. The president also touched on the issue of relations with Africa: Russia sees friends in the countries of the continent, does not see Africa as a platform for competition, and will continue to be a responsible supplier of grain.
