A new wave of false bomb threats in Europe At least 19 flights between different countries received false warnings about bombs on board on November 5. This led to problems with air travel between Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Greece, Denmark, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Finland and the Czech Republic. During the inspection, no traces of explosives were found in any of the planes. Some flights were diverted to neighboring cities and countries, while other planes made an emergency landing. Bomb threats on board were received anonymously by email, the Italian news agency ANSA notes. Citing experts, the British "Guardian" points out that such letters arrive at airports almost every day, but not in such volumes. This is the second time that such a wave of false threats has occurred in the last three days. On November 3, it affected at least seven aircraft.
