In Israel, all the votes have been counted - no one receives the required majority after counting 100% of the ballot boxes in the Israeli parliamentary elections, a stalemate has arisen, the DPA reports, citing Israeli media. The ruling bloc of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, consisting of right-wing, extreme right-wing and religious parties, receives 53 seats in the Knesset (in the last elections in 2022 - 64 seats). The opposition bloc led by Gadi Eisenkot receives 48 mandates. At the same time, the conservative right-wing Likud party, led by Netanyahu, maintains the largest faction (27 seats). The Ishar center party, recently founded by Eisenkot, has 21 seats. No one gets the required majority of 61 seats (there are 120 seats in the Israeli parliament). Historically, the Arab parties achieved the strongest results - they have 19 seats in the parliament (in 2022 - 10). All this makes it very difficult to form a government. Meanwhile, the Likud party said the election was "stolen", AFP reported. Far-right politician Itamar Ben-Gvir called for the arrest of the leaders of the Arab parties on the grounds that there are allegedly suspicions of their funding from Qatar. No public evidence of such funding has yet been presented. In turn, opposition chairman Eisenkot accused the Likud of trying to "delegitimize the election results."
