In Ukraine, construction of alternative bridge crossings over rivers, especially over the Dnipro, has begun. In Kyiv, the first bridges of this type are scheduled to be commissioned in early 2027. This was announced by the Minister of Reconstruction, Infrastructure and Transport Mykola Kalachnik. He emphasized that over the past month, Russia has been systematically attacking Ukraine's bridge infrastructure, in an attempt to disrupt transportation and logistics connections. According to him, the objects in Kyiv, Zaporizhia, Dnipro and Kharkov were hit the hardest.
