🔶 Again a Russian ground attack on Ukrainian energy facilities.
Following new Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure on Saturday and Sunday, more than 600,000 people in the country's eastern regions faced power outages.
The Ukrainian electric company "Dityaiki" announced on November 8 that important energy facilities in the Dnepropetrovsk region were damaged by Russian attacks.
Russia's Defense Ministry confirmed the ground attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, saying that its forces attacked an electrical substation in the Zhytomyr region, which supplied electricity to Ukraine's arms industry.
The ministry also announced that a cargo ship carrying weapons and military equipment was targeted in the Black Sea.
In recent days, the mutual attacks of Russia and Ukraine on the infrastructures and border areas of the two countries have continued.
At least two people were killed and more than 20 people were injured in Russia's massive attacks on Ukraine's energy and transportation infrastructure on the evening of Friday, November 7. These attacks caused power outages in five regions of Ukraine, including Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv, and disrupted the capital's water and heating supplies.
