🔶 Naboyan asked Razai to change the negotiating team.
Mahmoud Naboyan, Tehran's representative in the Salami Council and former deputy chairman of the National Security Commission, in a message on Channel X, asked Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Republic of Salami, to change the composition of the negotiating team with the United States.
Naboyan wrote: "Due to the failed negotiation attempt with America, which resulted in many damages due to inaccuracy and wishful thinking towards the enemy, and unfortunately, former members are also present in the current negotiations, we ask the honorable secretary to reconsider the members of the negotiating team in the current sensitive situation."
This position is raised in a situation where, according to the New York Times report, last week Qatar held two rounds of negotiations in Tehran and one round in Doha, and Iran is examining the proposals of the mediators.
Rezai is leading these negotiations together with Irakichi, the foreign minister and Jalibaf, the speaker of the Majles. Two Iranian officials and a senior US official told The New York Times that Razai had shown a greater willingness for the nuclear discussion, contrary to what he appeared to be saying.
