The Harana Human Rights News Agency announced a death sentence for two of the detainees in January 1404.

According to a report published by Harana on Friday, November 6, Hamid Kazmi and Hassan Diwand, who are incarcerated in Karaj Central Jail, were sentenced to death by the revolutionary court in this city.

Harana writes, based on the information he received, these two citizens were sentenced to death by the second branch of the Revolutionary Court in Karaj, presided over by Judge Sabzauri, on the charge of "operational action" and on the grounds of worsening Salami's penal code.

This news agency also mentioned that its investigations regarding the examples of accusations attributed to these two citizens and the latest status of their legal case are still ongoing.

During national interceptions in January 1404, thousands of civilians were killed or injured, and tens of thousands were arrested or summoned by the security forces. Later, several detainees faced serious charges, including "combat" and some were sentenced to death.
