🔶 Qatar announced progress in mediation between the US and Iran.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister of Qatar, says that his country continues its mediation efforts to end the war between the US and Iran.
Al-Thani said on Saturday, November 7 (Aven 16), according to the Reuters news agency, citing Al Jazeera: "We cannot wait for a completely incomplete agreement; we hope to reach a good agreement."
He added that the purpose of this mediation is to prevent the situation in the region from getting out of control.
The Prime Minister of Qatar announced that the US government is still ready to work on a solution even after the mid-term congressional elections. According to him, this shows that Washington's interest in reaching an agreement has not changed.
Al Thani spoke of the significant progress in the negotiations and expressed confidence that reaching an agreement is possible.
