🔶 "The captives' request to the Lebanese government to prevent Hezbollah from entering a possible war with Iran".

The Kahn Prisoners television channel, quoting a security official in this country, reported on Tel Aviv's request to the Lebanese government to prevent Hezbollah from entering into conflicts, in the event of a renewed war with Iran.

According to this report, Israeli captives conveyed this message to Beirut through American mediators and demanded that the Lebanese government deploy the military forces of this country to establish checkpoints in the areas where Hezbollah forces are active, in order to prevent the forces of this militant group supported by Tehran from joining the conflicts.

According to this security source, the Israeli prisoners were also warned that if Hezbollah forces resume their activities in a possible war with Iran, the clashes will resume in Lebanon as well. It is not clear why the Israeli prisoners conveyed this message to Beirut through American officials and did not contact the Lebanese government directly. This is despite the fact that the two sides recently conducted direct negotiations with the support of the United States with the aim of implementing a framework agreement for the disarmament of Hezbollah and the gradual withdrawal of IDF prisoners from southern Lebanon.

During the 40-day war, Hezbollah, with the support of Tehran, brought Lebanon into the hostage war between Israel and the US with Iran. Hezbollah's rocket launch into Lebanon was met with massive Israeli airstrikes, and the IDF's ground forces entered southern Lebanon. In June, an agreement was reached to end the conflict between Hezbollah and the Israeli prisoners, but sporadic clashes continued.
