🔶 Syria hosted a Lebanese delegation to discuss the return of Syrian refugees.
Syria's Foreign Minister, Assad Shibani, welcomed a Lebanese delegation led by Tariq Matri, Deputy Prime Minister of Lebanon, in Damascus on Monday, November 2, in order to facilitate the return of Syrian refugees.
According to the government news agency Sanaa in Syria, the meeting was held in the Tasrin Palace in the country's capital, and was also attended by Syria's Ministers of Higher Education, Education and Welfare and Labor.
This trip was held as a continuation of the previous talks and its purpose is to continue the activity of the joint committees that the two sides established to deal with issues of common interest.
According to Middlelist News, citing Sana'a, bilateral meetings between ministers began to review issues related to each ministry's area of responsibility and move the dialogue process from general discussions to practical actions.
This negotiation also includes administrative, social and educational issues related to the presence of Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
