🔶 United Arab Emirates: We will be more prepared for any new war between America and Iran.
Suhail Al Mazroui, the United Arab Emirates' energy minister, stated on Monday, November 2 (Aven 11) that the country will protect its energy infrastructure and invest in new export routes, overseas storage capacity and a shipping fleet in order to be better prepared for a possible new war between the US and Israel against the Islamic Republic.
On the sidelines of the international oil exhibition and conference in Abu Dhabi, he called the course of the war "unpredictable", but emphasized that the United Arab Emirates will be more prepared than before.
The UAE exports its crude oil through the port of Fujairah, which is just outside the Strait of Hormuz, and is currently building a new pipeline to Fujairah that will double crude oil export capacity by next year. The UAE energy minister told reporters: "I think that after this crisis, many companies will review, change and redesign their facilities to be more resilient in the future."
In this context, Al-Mazroui added: "Resilience is a big word and it has layers, from the barrel you produce to the final destination you reach." You need to be closer to your customers."
Reuters reported in June this year that the United Arab Emirates increased its crude oil and liquid gas exports to record highs shortly after leaving OPEC.
