🔶 Bekai: Our negotiations are a mess, but Mohsen Razai decides about Vance's letter.
Esmail Bakaei, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Salami, on Monday, November 2, stated at a weekly press conference that there was no change in the composition of Iran's negotiating team, and Mohammad Bakr Ghalibaf, the chairman of the Salami Council, was still in charge of the negotiations.
At the same time, Bakay said that he "decides to respond" to Jedi Vance's letter, with Mohsen Razai, the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council.
In part of his message, the spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry referred to the "change in America's tone" in Vance's letter to Moshan Razai and noted: "Differences in the tone of the correspondence are a common thing, for us the performance of the American government is important, as it has so far shown that it has no initiative in the field of diplomacy." Regarding the diplomatic efforts to advance the negotiations, he said: "In any case, the issue is complicated, or rather, they are very complicated issues, and the passage of time has added to the complications due to America's performance."
Referring to the exchange of messages between the parties and the need for a US decision, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Salami added: "We reflected everything that was necessary and considered to be the legitimate demands of Iran to the American side in a reasonable format."
He saw that it was necessary to implement these requirements to establish security in the Strait of Hormuz and added: "There will be no agreement and the Strait of Hormuz will not be reopened or secured, unless the American naval blockade ends and our legitimate demands become operational."
Bakay announced in another part of his weekly press conference that the issue of transferring 60% of enriched uranium to a third country was not raised in the negotiations in Doha and Tehran would not agree to such an action.
