🔶 The Emirates: We hope for progress in the negotiations, but we are also prepared for the worst scenario.

Anwar Gargash, the senior adviser of the diplomatic system of the United Arab Emirates, said that the country hopes that the negotiations between Iran and the US will lead to diplomatic progress, but at the same time, the country has also prepared itself for the "worst possible scenario". These statements were made following threats about the renewal of the war in the Middle East.

Gargash said during a conference in Manama: "We hope that a diplomatic opening will be reached. The occurrence of another round of conflicts does not coincide with the interests of the region. But I think we are prepared for the worst scenario, as we have shown in the past."

According to him, the interests of the region do not require that a new round of conflicts begin again.

Concerns have grown as the new round of fighting could seriously threaten the stability of the region. In the 39-day war, in response to America and Israel's attacks, Iran attacked the United Arab Emirates with missiles and drones.
