🔶 The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Yemen: In order to protect the Strait of Belmandav, the source of the threat must be dealt with.
Ofra al-Zuba, the foreign minister of the official government of Yemen, emphasized during the meetings at the "Manama" meeting that the "source of the threat" must be dealt with in order to protect the Strait of Belmandab and free international shipping. He listed the implementation of arms sanctions, the cessation of the Islamic Republic's support for the Houthi militias and support for Yemen's national institutions as important steps in this regard.
Ofra Al-Zuba wrote a message on Channel X in which he emphasized in his speech that supporting the reorganization of the government institutions in Yemen for their role and function is a "shared responsibility", since without the stability of Yemen, "sustainable regional security is not possible".
He also called the ongoing siege of Taiz a "war crime" and called for decisive international action to end it and reopen the city's roads permanently and safely. Yemen's official foreign minister emphasized that by restoring their government, the Yemenis are "actually protecting the neighboring countries and the trade routes of the world."
