🔶 France trembles on Halloween: the third weekend of protest.

On Saturday, October 31, which coincided with Halloween, France is the scene of widespread interceptions for the third weekend in a row.

Shopkeepers boarded up their windows, more than forty subway stations were closed and seventy thousand security forces were deployed throughout the country.

Interior Minister Loren Nunes warned that today's violence can be compared to what happened two weeks ago.

The wave of interceptions, stemming from dissatisfaction with the high cost, inequality and the unfavorable educational situation, began in mid-October. "Yellow vests", labor unions and students came to the streets together.

In the second wave of interceptions on October 24, according to the organizers, more than 1.3 million people demonstrated across France.

The Ministry of the Interior announced the number of demonstrators as approximately 410,000. The police arrested 1,314 people and 53 security officers were injured. Tear gas and water cannons were used in the cities of Nantes and Marseille.

After the security explosion and the injury of some of the demonstrators, the demands of the movement expanded.
