Iranian media reported on the meeting of Abdallahi, Chief of General Staff of Armed Military Forces, Khatami, Supreme Commander of the Army, and Vahidi, Supreme Commander of the Revolutionary Guards, with Mujtaba Khamenei, leader of the Islamic Republic.
This meeting was held at the same time as the threats of the United States and Israel to the Republic of Salami increased, but the exact time and place, as well as the manner of its holding, have not yet been announced. Political observers say that the meeting of the military commanders with Mujtaba Khamenei did not dispel doubts about his status and public presence.
Mujtaba Khamenei remained out of the public eye after the American attacks and the capture of the compound known as the "Leadership House" and the killing of Ali Khamenei and a number of his relatives, and his positions and approaches were announced mainly through written messages attributed to him.
According to ISNA, Mujtaba Khamenei called for "an immediate and effective response to any threat, without geographical limitations" in a meeting with army commanders.
