Abdul Hamid: The demand will continue until the people's demands are fulfilled.

Malawi Abdul Hamid, the imam of Ahl al-Sunnah Zahadan, said on Friday, October 30, during the Friday prayer service, that until the authorities respond positively to the people's demands, the demands will continue.

Referring to the 1957 revolution, he said, people did not rise up for a specific person, but they wanted liberation, justice, the removal of discrimination and entrusting the affairs of the state to worthy people. According to him, the failure to achieve these goals led to dissatisfaction and the renewal of interceptions.

Abdul Hamid emphasized that the peace of society and the satisfaction of the public is only possible by listening to the voice of the people and addressing their demands. He called for the fight against corruption, the utilization of public assets and resources for the benefit of the people and the improvement of the economic situation, and asked why residents of a country with many resources and talents should live in hunger and stress.

Zehdan Ahlasuna Imam Juma'a also saw the cessation of executions and forced confessions as one of the demands of the majority of the people. He called forced confessions against Islamic law and said current executions have no place in religion.
