On October 30, the Election Commission announced that neither the ruling coalition led by Benjamin Netanyahu nor the opposition camp led by Eisenkot will be able to win an absolute majority.

In the next parliament of this country, the Netanyahu coalition will have a total of 53 mandates and the Eisenkot camp will have a total of 48 representatives. To obtain a majority in the Knesset, 61 seats are required.

Arab parties will play a key role with 19 votes. In the past, Netanyahu has strongly opposed cooperation with them, and there are reservations among the opposition.

According to the latest reports, Herzog, the exiled president of Israel, plans to decide on the task of forming the government only after consulting with the political parties in this country.
