An official familiar with the ongoing negotiations between the Salmi Republic and the US told Reuters that Qatari mediators traveled to Tehran again on Friday, October 20 (Oct 30) as part of efforts to reach an agreement between Iran and the US.

According to the Reuters report, these negotiations were carried out in coordination with the United States.

Earlier, Mahmoud Maliki, head of the public relations department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Salamis, in response to the statements of Ibrahim Al-Hashmi, director of the communications and communications department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, asked him to be "more careful" in his statements in the media, considering Doha's role as a mediator.

He also demanded that the countries of the region, including Qatar, not allow the use of their land and facilities for a ground military attack on Iran. Ibrahim al-Hashmi said on Tuesday, October 27, "the ball is now in Iran's court" and the Salami Republic must show goodwill, end the threat of regional countries and open the Strait of Hormuz for mediation to succeed.
