Reuters identified this network in collaboration with the American captive risk consulting company "240 Analytics" and by examining thousands of bank, government, company and transportation institution registration documents.
The numbered entities have a common address with Iran's Ministry of Defense, and some are related to the Revolutionary Guards and foundations controlled by the authorities of the Islamic Republic.
