🔶 The final results of the POW elections in Israel: Netanyahu's coalition won the most votes.

The final results of the election vote count on Tuesday, October 27 showed that the coalition of Benjamin Netanyahu, the captive Israeli Prime Minister, is still in the lead and won 53 seats in the upcoming Knesset. Meanwhile, the opposition coalition, which seeks to oust the prime minister, won 48 seats. These statistics are based on the official figures of the Central Election Commission (CEC), which were published on Thursday, October 29, after all the votes had been counted.

However, the two coalitions, without the support of the Arab parties, failed to obtain the 61 seats needed to create a majority in the captive parliament (Knesset). Arab parties won a total of 19 seats, which is an unprecedented record. The announcement of the official results of the vote count occurred while the internal security organization of the Israeli POWs, known as Shinbat, was investigating suspicions of the transfer of funds from foreign institutions to the Israeli POWs; Institutions in Qatar and Turkey may be among them. The possible purpose of this action is to influence the rate of voter participation in areas populated by Arabs.
