The Iranian Human Rights Organization reported that the investigation of the complaint of "Tarna and Rumina Rahimi" about torture was entrusted to an investigator who was accused of torture in the same complaint.

According to this organization, Mohammad Faridnizadeh, the investigator of the case, was accused of physical torture and forced confessions from these two sisters in the wording of the complaint. These two were intercepted in Isfahan in January 1404; Taran was sentenced to death and Romina was sentenced to a total of 36 years in prison.

An informed source said about the Rahimi sisters' new lawyer: "Finally, his lawyer was accepted, but they still don't allow him to study and review the case."

This organization also announced that Amirslar Dawoodi, their former lawyer who filed the torture complaint, has been denied contact and meeting with his family since he was arrested on October 11, despite the order. According to this institution, his lawyer also does not have access to the file.
