🔶 AP: America's message to regional allies regarding renewed attacks on Iran.

American officials have informed several countries in the Middle East and their regional allies to prepare for the possibility of renewed military operations against Jamuri al-Salami after the midterm elections in the US next week, as well as the possibility of retaliatory action by Iran against them.

According to the Associated Press, two diplomats briefed on the matter told this news agency on condition of anonymity that they were not at liberty to comment on the sensitive warnings sent by US diplomats and defense officials.

These diplomats also emphasized that Donald Trump, the president of the United States, has not yet made his final decision regarding carrying out new attacks against Iran. However, he has repeatedly said that he is considering ordering a new military operation after the crucial Nov. 3 election in the United States. These threats and the United States' new demands on its allies to prepare for possible retaliatory measures have put the region on alert and raised fears that a resumption of large-scale military operations may occur in the near future.

The White House and senior officials in the US refused to comment.

Abbas Irakchi, the foreign minister of the Salami Republic, said in a message on the X social network on Wednesday, October 28, that the Iranian government "still gives diplomacy a chance to succeed" and is working with mediators to review the ideas that the Salami Republic included in the proposal presented last month.

Trump narrowly rejected that offer, but Islamic Republic officials still want it to serve as a basis for returning to the ceasefire. Meanwhile, the UAE Foreign Ministry issued a statement calling on the warring parties to "act wisely and pursue political solutions to help contain tensions" to prevent a recurrence of war.

According to the diplomats cited by the Associated Press, the US has informed its regional allies that the new round of the military operation may last several days, but regional authorities are preparing for retaliatory measures by Iran and its proxy groups. These actions may lead to a longer conflict.

US officials have also asked their allies to take precautions, expecting the Islamic Republic's response to include retaliatory attacks on energy facilities and other critical infrastructure.
