🔶 The police rejected the Likud party's claim that the elections were "stolen" by Arab parties.
The Israeli police rejected the claims of the Likud party led by Binyamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, according to which the Arab parties "stole" the elections.
A police official told various media outlets in Abrizavan: "Election day passed with very few violations related to the integrity of the elections, even compared to the previous elections."
The source added: "It must be emphasized that there is no research-based evidence or security information to support these claims."
Yesterday, one of the senior officials of the Central Election Commission (CEC) rejected the allegations of fraud.
As the counting of votes continues, the Arab parties won 19 seats in the elections held on Tuesday, with an unprecedented participation of the Arab community. Before the vote, it was reported in the Hebrew media that the Likud party plans to challenge the results of the elections in the Arab regions if Netanyahu does not win, claiming that the elections were "stolen".
The party has already prepared collections of complaints and accusations of fraud.
