🔶 Trump: The meeting between Putin and Zelensky will be held soon.
US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday, October 28, that the meeting between Volodymyr Zelensky and Vladimir Putin will be held "very soon".
He spoke to reporters about "major progress" in efforts to end Russia's war against Ukraine, but did not specify a possible time and place for the meeting.
Kyiv and Moscow have not yet publicly approved an agreement for a meeting between the two presidents.
These statements were made before the planned tripartite negotiations between representatives of Ukraine, the United States and Russia in November and six days before the mid-term elections in the United States.
