An armed militant carried out a ground attack with two knives on the prisoner embassy guard in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, on the morning of Wednesday, October 28, and after wounding him, he was shot and killed by this agent.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: "None of the embassy employees were injured. "The embassy was closed at night when the incident happened."
The Belgrade Prosecutor's Office also announced in this context that the assailant opened the door of the guard room and approached the police officer: "An unknown person threw one of the knives at the police officer which was projected onto his left cheek."
According to the prosecution, the agent then fired several shots; Action assessed as legitimate defense.
