🔶 The initial results of the POW elections in Israel; The bloc of pro-Netanyahu parties is at the head.
With about 57% of the votes counted in the elections for the captive parliament, the initial results show the share of the bloc of parties supporting Benjamin Netanyahu in 55 seats and the bloc led by Gadi Eisenkot in 49 seats. Two Arab organizations, mainly "Lista Koshama" and "Ram" have a total of 16 seats.
These results are temporary and the pro-Netanyahu bloc has not yet reached the quorum of 61 seats to win a parliamentary majority. Double-envelope votes, including military votes, are counted later.
At the same time, Donald Trump, the US president, saw his support for Netanyahu as the reason for his improvement and told reporters: "I think that when the support was announced, it helped him a lot."
Trump said that he had not spoken with Netanyahu since the results began to be published.
