🔶 Reuters: Flavio Bolsonaro left Brazil after the election defeat.
Flavio Bolsonaro, the right-wing Brazilian senator and son of Jair Bolsonaro, the country's former president, left Brazil after losing the presidential election on Sunday (25 October).
According to Reuters, citing two knowledgeable sources, he left for the United States while refusing to comply with a Supreme Court order to hand over his passports.
Yesterday, the Supreme Court of Brazil gave Flavio Bolsonaro 24 hours to hand over his passports in connection with the money laundering investigation. He denies the allegations made in this case.
Two other sources told Reuters that Bolsonaro's passports were revoked after the legal deadline expired and he refused to hand over his documents.
A senior Brazilian federal police official also announced that there was no record of Bolsonaro's departure from the country's official border and immigration authorities. It is still unknown how Bolsonaro left Brazil, when he will arrive in America, and whether or not he will be able to enter the country with illegal passports.
